What an incredible evening in our nation’s capital!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our THF Salute to SOF Benefit Dinner presented by NextEra Energy at the historic Watergate Hotel. The patriotic Washington, D.C. community showed up in full force to stand alongside America’s Special Operations veterans.

A premier highlight of the night was our exclusive Fireside Chat with an extraordinary husband-and-wife duo: General Bryan Fenton, U.S. Army (Ret.), 13th Commander of USSOCOM, and Dawn Fenton. Their powerful insights on leadership, family, resilience, and navigating the “moat of transition” left an unforgettable impact on everyone in the room. A heartfelt thank you to Colonel Brent Lindeman, U.S. Army (Ret.), our inspiring alumni speaker for sharing his personal journey.

A very special thank you to our generous Presenting Sponsor, @nexteraenergyresources, and our event sponsors for making this evening possible.

Every corporate sponsorship, table, and ticket purchase from this event directly funds The Honor Foundation’s world-class career transition program, helping elite warriors translate their skills into corporate leadership and successful family lives. Thank you!

Next stop on THF’s fall tour: Austin on October 8th!

SIX YEARS. COUNTLESS MILES. ONE INCREDIBLE PARTNER.

Some of the most important people at Swim for SOF aren’t the ones in the water.

For six years, Kenne and his teams at @sdyachtcharters, @adventuress.us and Wild Pacific Whale Watching have been a steady force behind Swim for SOF. As a boat captain, SWCC (ret), & THF alum, Kenne has personally given his time, energy, and expertise to help keep our nation and swimmers safe and supported on the water.

Year after year, Kenne shows up ready to help wherever he is needed. His generosity, professionalism, and commitment to our mission have made him

Events like this are powered by people and organizations that quietly step forward and ask, “How can we help?”

Kenne, thank you for six years of partnership, for your extraordinary generosity, the generosity of your network, and for being one of the true unsung heroes of Swim for SOF.

We are incredibly grateful to have you and San Diego Yacht Charters on our crew. Please leave them a Google review as they would greatly appreciate the feedback.

Thank you, Kenne!

THAT’S A WRAP ON SWIM FOR SOF 2026!

On September 19, nearly 150 swimmers took on The Honor Foundation’s 6th Annual Swim for SOF—an incredible display of grit, determination and camaraderie in support of our Special Operations Forces community.

THF Alumni, sponsors and mission supporters pushed through 3.3 miles of open water from Coronado to the USS Midway, completing two tribute workouts along the way. It was a challenge worthy of the people and purpose behind it—and a powerful reminder of what this community can accomplish together.

An event of this scale takes countless hours, hundreds of helping hands and an extraordinary community behind the scenes.

To our Title Sponsor, C.A. Medical, and Presenting Sponsor, @sunbeltrentals: thank you for your continued belief in this event and our mission.

To our event sponsors and partners—@blackriflecoffee, @skydiohq, Foreword Foundation, @shopgovx, @creda_sandiego, @jpmorganchase, @anduril, @bubsnaturals, @apollo.management, @restomods, @theveteranfund, and everyone who helped make the day possible—thank you for showing up for this community.

To our incredible Tribe of Volunteers, captains, boat crews and water support teams: you made this event happen and kept our swimmers moving safely across the bay. We could not do it without you.

Thank you to THF CEO @kellylmcgraw, Swim for SOF supporter Jon Rodrigue, and Race Director @jason_rivers281 for helping capture the meaning behind the challenge.

Most importantly, to every swimmer who dove into the water: thank you for taking on the challenge and carrying this mission across San Diego Bay.

And to everyone who donated, volunteered, cheered, shared, tagged and helped spread the word—you are part of this mission, too.

Six years in, this community just keeps getting stronger.

THF Treks are one of the pillars of the THF Program — an opportunity for Fellows to immerse themselves in various companies and organizations to learn about roles, culture, operations and a variety of industries.

With our spring and summer cohorts all wrapped up, and campuses preparing for fall, we wanted to acknowledge and thank the companies we visited earlier this year who welcomed THF into their workplaces. Fellows traveled to cities across the country in addition to businesses in their own backyard, and our virtual Fellows also had the opportunity to connect with numerous businesses who provided informative discussions and presentations.

Thank you to all companies and individuals who played a part in their Trek experience, and for their hospitality, generosity and insight into their industries.

We sincerely appreciate you providing a memorable experience for the men and women in our program, and value the time, efforts and continuous support of THF and the military community.

Twenty-five years ago, our nation changed forever.

We remember the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001. We honor the families who carry that loss, the first responders who ran toward danger, and all those whose lives were forever changed by that day.

We also remember what came next.

For an entire generation of Americans, 9/11 became a call to serve. Many of the Special Operators and veterans in The Honor Foundation community raised their hands because of what they witnessed that day. Others spent their careers carrying forward the mission that followed.

Twenty-five years later, that generation is entering a new chapter of service and leadership, and we are standing shoulder to shoulder with them.

Today, we remember those we lost. We honor those who answered the call. And we remain grateful to those who continue to serve our country in new ways.

We will never forget.
