Prior to The Honor Foundation I thought my experience only translated to possible employment in a defense industry or as a government civilian. The program’s first phase helped me to understand what was important to me and the type of culture I want to be part of. After meeting with numerous businesses in the local area and Chicago, I am now planning to obtain an executive MBA. Three months ago, I had no concept of what a career in business would be like and never thought I would be able to find a job in the private sector. I have connected with numerous professionals through The Honor Foundation network, receiving mentorship and advice as I prepare to retire. I can’t say enough good things about Janie and Ashley. All of The Honor Foundation staff has been immensely helpful. This program totally transformed my post-retirement plans, realigning them to what is important to me and making me excited for the opportunities ahead.
