The Honor Foundation (THF) completely changed my perspective on how I would approach my transition. Being in the military, I was focused on the team and the mission and had to take a step back and rediscover who I was apart from all of that. THF teaches you about yourself, prepares you for your next career, and provides incredible opportunities along the way. The first phase focuses on who you are and the things you need to be fulfilled and you are even assigned a personal, executive coach to help personalize the experience. The second phase is about preparing your tools. This includes resume writing, LinkedIn profiles, understanding how to answer interview questions, and finally conducting mock interviews. The third and final phase is going out and visiting local and then remote companies and building your professional network. I can’t express enough how invaluable this experience has been and I will be a life-long supporter of this foundation.
