Scott Asack is The Honor Foundation’s Ambassador for the Washington DC/Northern Virginia area and a THF Fellow from our inaugural virtual course held in the summer of 2019. Currently serving on the Joint Staff in the Pentagon, he is working on his own transition plans out of the Navy after serving 26 years as an officer in Naval Special Warfare. Throughout his Naval career, Scott has led diverse high-performing teams of special operators and technicians at all echelons of command in high risk operations and training both at home and abroad. His formal education includes a Master of International Public Policy from The Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, a Master of National Security Studies from the U.S. Naval War College, bachelor’s degrees in Optical Engineering and Political Science from the University of Rochester, as well as foreign language skills in Italian and Arabic. Scott is happily married and busy raising three children in Northern Virginia where he is planning to settle and start a new career in Fall 2020.
