Marshall Suetterlin, Director of Programs- THF Drew Dix Campus | Colorado Springs

Name:  Marshall Suetterlin

Where were you born and raised?
Fort Wayne Indiana and Dillon Colorado

What’s a short story around the biggest transition you’ve faced in life?
I made about every major life decision there is to make post military. I moved, started a new job, got married, integrated my daughters into a split family, bought a house, etc. The first 6 months were a blur.

What’s the one piece of advice you’d give a younger you?
Be intentional about where you focus your time.

Your Personal Why?
I really enjoy and get a lot out of helping others, especially veterans.

How does your Why drive you to be a part of the THF Ecosystem?
Transitioning out of the military is a complicated and potentially difficult time for most of us. I want to help give other veterans the tools to succeed.

Military Connection or Why do you respect Special Operators?
I was a Green Beret and Operator for over 25 years. I understand the highs and lows of the community because I’ve lived it myself.

Favorite THF Value, and why?
Understand yourself. Without this value, the rest will be out of alignment.

Area/Industry of expertise:
Defense, Unmanned Systems, Tactical and firearms instruction.
