Where were you born and raised?
Orange County, CA (before it got weird)

What’s a short story around the biggest transition you’ve faced in life?
When I took on the leadership of a team, I remember a deep sense of responsibility that I was no longer responsible for my own actions and outcomes, but every word, look, decision, and interaction mattered. As someone who prefers to be a lone ranger and avoid accountability, leading a team was a huge challenge that forced me to grow up in significant ways.

What’s the one piece of advice you’d give the younger you?
Go ahead and just be you.

Your personal why?
I wake up everyday to do whatever I can to unlock the potential in others

How does your why drive you to be a part of the THF ecosystem?
I love working with people who recognize their need for help, and have a deep desire to grow. At THF, everyone I meet is ready to grow, so I’m the one who gets the benefit and great joy in helping others while doing what I’m made to do.

Why do you respect special operators?
Through many interactions over the past three years with a lot of SOF, I’ve been impressed every time with their level of humility matched with a supreme level of dedication, desire and will. They’re really strange in the best kind of ways.

Favorite THF Value and Why?
I love the value of “Give Feedback– it’s a gift”. I cannot imagine growing into who I could be without the honest, kind, and loving feedback from people I trust and respect. Like an ancient proverb says: “Wounds from a sincere friend are better than many kisses from an enemy.”
