Medal of Honor recipient,

Master Chief (SEAL) Britt Slabinski, USN (Ret.)

Britt Slabinski is from Northampton, MA. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout at age 14 and upon graduating High School enlisted in the US Navy in 1988. He completed Basic Underwater Demolition SEAL training with class 164 in January 1990.

Slabinski retired from Naval Service after 25 Years as a Command Master Chief. During those years he completed 9 overseas deployments and 15 combat deployments in support of U. S. national objectives.

Slabinski was awarded the Medal of Honor from President Donald J. Trump on May 24, 2018 for his actions during combat operations on March 4, 2002 while deployed to Afghanistan.

Tony Luftman

NHL Network TV Host

Tony Luftman is a host appearing across NHL Network’s programming, including the flagship program NHL Tonight. Luftman also hosts NHL Network’s special event coverage, including the Stanley Cup Final, NHL All-Star Game and Winter Classic.

Luftman’s love for hockey began as a four-year old when he watched the 1980 U.S. Olympic Hockey Team win the gold medal in Lake Placid, New York.

Over the course of his career in broadcasting, Luftman has covered the NHL, MLB, NBA, NFL, MMA, college sports and WWE. The Los Angeles, California native made the leap to national network assignments with CBS Sports Network’s Lead Off, ROME and college basketball coverage.

Luftman graduated from UCLA with a degree in history, where he spent four seasons as a team manager for the Bruin Basketball team and two summers as a team manager for USA Basketball. His career highlights were being a member of UCLA’s 1995 NCAA Championship team and the 1996 USA Basketball Under-22 World Championship team, which captured a gold medal.
