The Honor Foundation provided me with something that cannot be measured in dollars and cents. This organization clearly does more with less considering the incredible network, quality of instruction/instructors, and genuine desire to catapult talented transitioning veterans into the workforce. Honored to help all future THF alumnus any way I can.
THF is an incredible program that helped we work through the ‘mission analysis’ and ‘target development’ when considering what to do next after 32 years of service. They assembled an absolute world class team to help guide you through the process and it’s helped by joining a COHORT of fellow teammates who are in the same process. Again, an incredible program, would (and have) highly recommend!
After 20 years in the Navy, THF filled my cup and has expanded my aperture and given me a newfound excitement for my next chapter. THF provided me with so many experiences, resources, and tools that I had never been exposed to in my career. From identifying my strengths, polishing success stories from my past, interview night, local Trek, and an incredible Trek to Boston, my experience in the 12-weeks was absolutely priceless and unforgettable. I will always be grateful to the staff, volunteers, and donors for this absolutely priceless experience, as will my family.
When I went into the program I had no idea what to expect. But soon after it became clear to me the value that THF offers. I was definitely the guy that thought my experience wouldn’t translate to any job besides contracting and law enforcement. I was dead wrong. They taught us how to look at our experience in a different light. All of it is applicable to any industry you wish to find yourself in. They showed us what we want to do and more importantly what we don’t want to do in our next career. I will be forever grateful for everything I learned from THF. Plus you go through it with a team. People who have been there and people who are in the exact same spot. Highly recommend that anyone who can, should attend THF.
The Honor Foundation is an exceptional program. It’s structure enables you to understand your skills and attributes from your past career and translate it into a marketable corporate structure. “They will be sore tried, by night and by day, without rest-until the victory is won. The darkness will be rent by noise and flame. Men`s souls will be shaken with the violences of war. For these men are lately drawn from the ways of peace. They fight not for the lust of conquest. They fight to end conquest. They fight to liberate. They fight to let justice arise, and tolerance and good will among all Thy people. They yearn but for the end of battle, for their return to the haven of home. . . .”-- President Franklin D. Roosevelt, D-Day PrayerToday marks the 79th Anniversary of World War II’s D-Day -- a day when we remember the fallen heroes who stormed the beaches of Normandy during the largest invasion by air, land and sea. Today, we honor the soldiers who gave the ultimate sacrifice on that day, and every day since.
