Where were you born and raised?
I was born in Seattle, WA, and raised in Port Orchard, WA.

What’s a short story around the biggest transition you’ve faced in life?
One of the biggest transitions I faced happened while I was still serving in Special Operations. I chose to leave a tactical role to stay geographically closer to my children; a decision that challenged my identity and left me emotionally conflicted for over a year. Looking back, that leap of faith humbled my ego, strengthened my family, and opened doors to opportunities and experiences I never would have discovered otherwise.

What’s the one piece of advice you’d give a younger you?
Invest in your family. Time is the one thing you can never get back.

Your Personal Why?
I believe in building a better future, so we create generational impact.

How does your Why drive you to be a part of the THF Ecosystem?
I genuinely care about the future of our country, our communities, and our families. THF gives Special Operations service members the perspective, network, and confidence to build meaningful lives beyond the uniform, and I’m honored to help others discover what’s possible in their next chapter.

Military Connection or why do you respect Special Operators?
I retired after 22 years in the U.S. Army, including 17 years serving in Special Operations. Having lived the unique demands of the SOF community, I understand both the challenges of service and the opportunities that come with a successful transition.

Favorite THF Value, and why?
“One is None.” I believe we aren’t meant to navigate life alone. People are stronger, more resilient, and more successful when they’re surrounded by a trusted community, and THF embodies that principle by empowering people to help one another succeed.
