04 DOSIER:

Scott Meiners, Director of Programs- JBLM

Name:  Scott Meiners

Where were you born and raised?
I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri.

What’s a short story around the biggest transition you’ve faced in life?
The biggest transition I’ve faced was leaving the Special Operations community after nearly a decade in the 75th Ranger Regiment. That chapter gave me purpose and brotherhood, but stepping away from it meant redefining what success looked like. It wasn’t about rank or achievements anymore – it became about impact. Learning to lead through empathy and authenticity has become my new mission, and it’s what ultimately brought me back to serve others through The Honor Foundation.

What’s the one piece of advice you’d give a younger you?
Don’t chase approval – authenticity is your greatest strength.

Your Personal Why?
To help others see their potential, believe in it, and act on it.

How does your Why drive you to be a part of the THF Ecosystem?
The Honor Foundation reminded me that transition isn’t just about what you’ll do next – it’s about rediscovering who you are. As an alumnus, I’m honored to now stand on the other side, walking with other Special Operators as they find their purpose and direction. THF embodies the same brotherhood, humility, and service that defined my time in the Ranger Regiment, and I’m grateful to continue that mission here.

Military Connection or why do you respect Special Operators?
The Special Operations community represents the best of service – people who give everything they have for something bigger than themselves. I’m proud to have spent seven years in the 75th Ranger Regiment, surrounded by men and women who lived that truth every day.

Favorite THF Value, and why?
Empathy. It’s at the heart of every relationship. When you lead with empathy, you start to truly see people – their challenges, their strengths, and their potential.

Area/Industry of expertise:
