Matt Parrish
Matt Parrish is the Executive Director of the Task Force Dagger Special Operations Foundation, a veteran-operated non-profit that provides assistance to wounded, ill, or injured US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) members and their families. Matt is a retired Green Beret who spent his entire 20-year career within Special Operations, including 13 years on Army Special Forces operational teams. He completed multiple combat tours to Iraq and Afghanistan as well as training and operational tours to most of the countries in Central and South America. He’s the recipient of numerous leadership awards, service medals, and specialized certifications in some of the world’s toughest disciplines. He rose to the highest enlisted rank in the U.S. Army and his final position was the Senior Enlisted Leader for the USSOCOM Preservation of the Force and Family program – overseeing human performance and wellness for over 70k special ops individuals across the globe.
Matt has also narrated and performed across the country at college and professional sporting events with the SOCOM Para-Commando parachute demonstration team and he created and hosted SOCOM’s first official podcast, SOFcast. Matt also uses his popular military humor Instagram page, @Another_SF_meme_page to raise money and awareness for veteran and military charities and causes. He’s a frequent guest on podcasts, radio shows, and speaking engagements. Matt has been married for over 17 years, has three children, loves coaching his kids and others’ in baseball and softball, and is a follower of Jesus.
