The Honor Foundation has been nothing short of spectacular for me, and I am eternally grateful to have had the opportunity to partake in it. The program helped me learn a tremendous deal about myself, my skills, and how to market my experiences to future employers. More importantly, it provided me the springboard I needed to get serious about my post-military goals. Thank you for the lessons, the newly formed friends, and the momentum to transition well into the next chapter of my life.
I found that The Honor Foundation is truly committed to “serving others with honor for life” with everyone I met there. Going through their program profoundly impacted my transition out of the Air Force and I am proud to continue being a part of the community as an alumni. Of all the nonprofits out there geared towards serving veterans, I haven’t seen one that outperforms the impact of THF.
The greatest opportunity THF offers is the space to focus on ourselves. To reflect, understand, and express ourselves through a multitude of optics that aren’t commonplace in the military.
THF helped clear away the fog and predisposed uncertainty of transition. Preferences and priorities helped me the most early on, because I realized mine had changed, but I was still stuck in my own past. Phil, Rachel and Shannon, did an amazing job facilitating this course. Also Katie Wiesel, my coach did an outstanding job at giving a perspective that I could relate to, on topics I felt I felt unsure about.
From the moment I joined the program, I was met with unwavering support, personalized mentorship, and invaluable resources. I learned invaluable skills in networking and was provided numerous opportunities to put them into action. I can now face my transition with confidence, knowing I have the skills I need and a support community by my side. Thank you Honor Foundation!

“The advice I would share with other companies about hiring veterans is that it’s an absolute no brainer. What you get in return is someone that shows up on time, is really motivated, has seen it all- is battle-tested, if you will- and doesn’t get out of rhythm with any task. What may seem stressful to a non-veteran is just a day in the life. We’re absolutely going to continue to hire veterans.” — Spencer Muratides, Partner, @alliantpartners Veterans give their lives to selfless service and have made countless sacrifices in defense of our country. At THF, we’re committed to helping them come full circle and thrive within the way of life they worked so hard to protect. We recently sat down with some of our employer partners to discuss how veterans that they hire contribute to their business, and their advice to other employers is clear: veterans are battle-tested and some of the most intellectually curious and invested workers they’ve hired. We all need these leaders in our businesses.Visit honor.org to learn more.
Here’s a little-known fact: veterans are some of the greatest untapped talent in the workforce. Since our mission is to help Special Operations Forces transition from military to civilian life and find fulfilling, purpose-filled careers after the uniform, we know that they bring unparalleled leadership qualities to any workplace. On National Hire a Veteran Day today, we celebrate the employers who recognize the grit, determination, ingenuity, and versatility that veterans bring into their companies, and we encourage all companies to invest more in veteran talent. The best way we can thank them for their service to our country is to help ensure that their path post-service is clear and continues to impact the world.Visit honor.org to learn more. 🇺🇸
